All about the bowl

Today was the day of protein and bowls!!! I loaded up because I knew I’d need every bit of energy I could get!

BREAKFAST: To start, I heated up 3 oz of pork and scrambled two eggs. Very filling and tasty too!

Lunch came around 1 pm and since I was in the classroom all morning I had no time for a midday snack.

LUNCH: Quinoa bowl to the rescue! I’d been saving leftover quinoa for the last few days before today and it was still delicious! I added cucumber, 1/4 avocado, 3 oz pork (the rest!), a hard boiled egg, and ate every last grain!

SNACK: 🍌 🍊 In that order! I ate my banana “like a monkey” as my kids say while Lucas used his scissors to cut this bouquet of weeds, roses, and daisies.

Then it was off to the library for LEGO Club!!

And back home for…..

DINNER! This time it was a rice bowl! Rice, tomatoes, roasted red peppers and onions, raw onions, 1/4 avocado, cucumber, and 3 oz grilled chicken breast.

The next question is whether to go to sleep now or not!
