Why do I love nature as I do? I don’t know if it’s because of some innate attraction …maybe the everyday pull and joy of it.. maybe because I experience it in the same real way I do a delicious Christmas treat–with all of the sweetness and beauty up front…or perhaps the spiritual connections are what compel me–what I do know I love is how the Word is overflowing with nature to life comparisons.
For whatever reasons I am drawn to these, I am enthralled by them. Everything from nature sings to me about my Father in Heaven, the path of light He’s guides me along, and the Good He is continually pronouncing.
On Christmas day, I’m thankful for the messages that nature delivers to me about the Lord. Thankful there are so many, and full of joy for the fact I get to experience Him in this special way.
Truly, with every parallel drawn, the stronger my affinities for the Author of them grow.
Looking to the brightest days ahead.
But the path of righteousness is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day.
